Wallace's love of sailing has taken him to many, otherwise innaccessible, locations across Scotland's west coast, taking him as far as St. Kilda in the North Atlantic and to many of the islands of the Outer and Inner Hebrides as well as the Firth of Clyde.

Wallace always takes his sketch book and paints
wherever he travels. Whilst most of the locations
are of the west coast of Scotland, he has also
painted in England, Italy, Spain, France, Israel,
USA and Australia.
